My new Samsung Galaxy Nexus arrives today. I'm hoping the device, advertised as "all Google," will not include the ridiculous amount of bloatware that was included with my Verizon/Motorola DroidX.
Just in case though, I've already got Wugfresh's One-click root utility installed: http://www.wugfresh.com/dev/gnex-root-toolkit/
More later…

Yea, Verizon is the worst when it comes to bloatware, I'm with T-Mobile now and they also have some crap I wish I could uninstall.
Still have a ton of crap on my Droid that I've never used, am not planning to ever use and can't delete.
+George Ferreira, the Nexus has little bloatware. I was going to root it, first thing, but I really don't see the need. It's blazing fast with very little crap in memory. I'm impressed!
+Dave Minella: You need to root your phone! This will help: http://www.psouza4.com/bionic/
+Paul Rey My previous phone stopped working so I was rushed into buying a new phone just before the Nexus came out. I couldn't wait so I bought the Samsung Galaxy II through T-Mobile, wonderful phone except it's missing one thing that I never thought companies would leave out of the phones, an "alert" light. I never know when I have a message or e-mail unless I wake the phone up, it's a pain having to constantly powering up the phone just to see if there's an alert specially in noisy environments when you can't hear the sound alert.
Apparently lots of companies are leaving the LED off the phone, does the Nexus have an LED?
Yes! The Nexus has a white LED indicator. I suspect it's a multi-color LED, but so far, have only see white…
