It’s just too cold to ride!
I’ve tried, I just don’t have the right gear. And on the sport bike, at least, when the highs are only getting to 45F or so, your tires don’t stick, the roads are full of sand from the morning’s black ice, and you just can’t get your groove-on.
Take a winter break from sport riding
I’m done — at least until I see highs near 60F…
