Hunter Valley Dual-Sport Ride
EveryTrail – Find the best Hiking in California
Treasures of the Sierra Madre
Hosted by groupridesforum.net, I only got to partake in a small portion of this ride, but it was one quality ride nonetheless! It was also the largest group ride I’ve ever been on! I’m told there were about 40 bikes participating. And what a great and eclectic group of riders! We had sport bikes, nakeds, touring bikes, cruisers and even a Polaris 3-wheeler. Nice folks!
The route included what we locals call the “Mini Dragon.” It is a twisty and technical route that I ride often. If you get to California, I’d recommend you ride it too!
In total, I only rode a 140 miles or so, but with the perfect weather, great riders and a killer route, it made for a great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday! :-)
Ebbetts Pass
If you ride a motorcycle, you will LOVE HWY 4!!! (Click link above to expand.)

Alice’s Restaurant
A great ride with Marin’s Shiny Side Up group. A more eclectic group of riders than I typically ride with, but it just made the experience even richer. Great people and some very nice bikes. See Garmin GPS data here

MIA Sierras (Fellow Riders, Missing in Action) 7-10-2010
Was stood up by my fellow riders. Got to the Jamestown, CA meeting point early, waited and no one ever showed. Later, I received a text stating the group was running WAAAY late because they stopped to assist a fallen Harley rider. (On the the freeway?! Go figure…)
